Kettlebells also require a neutral wrist position to
prevent injury. If you're worried I'd try to keep a
neutral position by first concentrating on doing so.
I've heard a lot of my weightlifting buddies say that
the use of wraps for support can lead to injury
because of imbalances. Never really thought of it for
shovel gloving though.
