Yeah Debs right you have to test the length by doing a couple of shovel motions, and decide for yourself..the folks in the hardware store might look at you funny but oh well. The Fiberglass does absorb more vibration, but i have been informed that the heavier you go in weight the less choice you have my 20lb sledge is durable oak, fiberglass was'nt available supposedly. Also take into account your height and the length of your arms/legs.
