PS...Seriously, mine is 12 lbs and has a 32" wood handle which I 
sanded the polyeurathane off of so it wouldn't slip around too much..
I think the leverage ratio of weight/handle is just not that 
important if it is comfortable for you to swing it around.. 
everyones different...
I like long handles! :)
