Go to your local dump or whatever and get a small, worn out car tire (I'm manly, so I use a larger truck tire). Recycle it into a stress reduction apparatus. Beat the living @#*$ out if it with your hammer. Stand it on edge and beat the @#*$ out of it with a 4 pound setting sledge (one handed), say 100 times with each arm. I have a large, private yard so I can do this next exercise. You might want to pass. I squat way down, on my toes (getting on your toes really reduces the stress on your knees for some reason), grab the near edge the tire, and stand while flipping it over/throwing it. 50 of those will really get your heart pumping. Then the shovelgloving keeps your heart rate up... starting with the squats really intensifies the exercise. Not to mention that you can then walk uphill all day without feeling a thing. --- In , "Debbie Feder" <deborahfederlmt@h...> wrote: > > > --- In , John Enzinas <jenzinas@g...> > > But did you do it for 14 min? > > --j > > ...Hey what's up vagueman! > > No, John, I must say that I lost all track of time in my adrenaline > induced state of euphoria...But a little later on, once my hands > weren't red and sore, I did do my little 14 minutes...This time with > renewed enthusiasm and respect for my tool of destruction! > Peace, > Deb > How's it going for you these days? |
