Subject: Shovelglove is dangerous for guitars!

Last night Richard was noodling around with my SG and it flipped
over. The handle hit smack in the middle of the face of my guitar,
which I keep out of the case and in a stand, for quick access...My
poor Martin has a boo boo now.
A 1/2 centimeter "dent" in the varnish, but fortunately no crack in

the wood! I have played this instrument for about 15 years now and I
think of it as family :)
We both jumped when this happened, since the guitar resonated with
an ominous and out of tune twang from the impact, and Richard was
clearly worried that I'd kill him. Of course I let him know to be
more careful
I reassured him, and forgave him, it was just an accident. But I
will be "punishing" my SG for it's behavior today!
Is anyone SG in anymore?
Love,
It seems that we all have to watch out for the handles of our SG's
LOL :)
Deb
