I told my grandfather about the 20#er, and he told me about how when he was working
maintenance in a steel plant, that was the size of sledge he carried around. His
reasons? "I wanted to make sure I didn't have to go back and get anything
heavier," and, "If something needed to be hit with a sledge hammer, I
wanted to make sure I REALLY hit it." I just thought that was a good 20 pound
sledge anecdote.
