Hi John,

I have a fiberglass 16 pounder and a hickory 12
pounder. Honestly, I don't notice much of a
difference.

In principle I prefer the wood because it has more of
an old timey-feel in keeping with the movements, but
if you notice the sweater tied to the end of it,
that'll kind of break the illusion too.
