There is no question the modern lifestyle may be killing us. I recently saw a report that stated less than 3% of Amish women are overweight compared with an over 50% obesity rate in the general US population -- despite an Amish diet heavy in fat and other goodies. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figuire that simple consistent physical activity ie. - manual labor, walking, playing frisbee, catch, or even flying a kite can go far in keeping you fit and keeping off the pounds.Reinhatr's Urban Ranger idea as well as shovel gloveboth address this issue.
